Dutchman's Gold Honey Farm is open year round. We know you've tried and loved our honey products and we hope you continue to find new ways of incorporating honey into your life. But did you know that we have dozens more bee products that can be enjoyed. At the Honey Shop (our farm gate retail outlet) one can find beeswax. Beeswax is one of those bee products that has no singular use. Beeswax can be transformed into candles or used as a key ingredient in cosmetics: Skin creams, soaps, lip protection. When beeswax is used in these handmade cosmetics there is rarely a need to add scent because the natural honey scent is preserved in the cream or soap.

So next time when you come in for that favourite jar of Dutchman's Gold Honey have a look around and you'll 'BEE' surprised by all the wonders made from bee hive products.

Dutchman’s Gold is a small family run company that has been doing business for 31 years in the village of Carlisle! We cannot operate as well without the support of our staff; we have an excellent team of honey packers, candle makers, an accountant, general labour production, a delivery person and few seasonal beekeepers.

Currently we have a part-time position open for a retail clerk. 

Store Clerk:

The main function of this job is to be available to provide customer service that reflects the charm of our country honey retail farm outlet.  Your knowledge of honey and bees and other products of the hive are an asset.

Some of the duties include but not limited to: keeping the store and store front looking tidy (some cleaning, gardening, weeding, sweeping, raking, shovelling as the season moves on), packing product for our retail store and Annie’s Apitherapy supplements, updating the website, and wrapping gift baskets (Christmas time) etc…

Other odd jobs may crop up from time to time, thanks for being flexible. We are looking for a self-motivated person who is reliable, trustworthy and friendly. Wage is by the hour and starts at $11.00/hour

The job hours are Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and to be available for some Saturday’s 10am to 4pm.
