Dutchman's Gold Honey is pure, natural, non-pasteurized honey. Every spoonful is the product of our experienced beekeepers’ hives. We produce three distinctive blends of 100% Canadian honey, Summer Blossom, Wildflower and Buckwheat. Our honey is available in raw, liquid or creamed, or blended with flavours like cinnamon or raspberry, or products from the beehive (royal jelly, propolis & bee pollen). We take the quality of our honey seriously as it has been family owned and operated since 1981.
Summer Blossom Honey A pleasingly mild delicate honey, derived from a banquet of clover blossoms and summer florals (clover, alfalfa, basswood and canola blossoms).. Ideal for most recipes, use as a spread or in your tea and coffee. Available in various sizes of glass and the convenient squeeze plastic bottles. |
|
Wildflower Honey A full-bodied, distinctively aromatic honey created from a bouquet of Golden Rod, Aster and late summer wildflowers. Add for a distinctive taste to any recipe. Avilable in various sizes. |
|
Buckwheat Honey
A strong and robust honey, derived from the increasingly rare Buckwheat blossom, is ideal as your favourite spread or for baking. |
|
Creamed Honey Pure creamed honey is crystalized under controlled conditions to produce its smooth texture. Available in Summer Blossom or Buckwheat floral sources. It is great as a spread for bread or muffins. |
|
Raw Honey Freshly bottled after extracting. Raw honey has not been reheated or filtered. Enjoy all the benefitical enzymes and pollen of this delicate tasting honey. Tiny bits of beeswax and pollen are perfectly normal. Crystalization of the honey is a natural process that can be expected over time. |

Honey Blends Honey is complimentary to all products of the hive. When raw honey is mixed together with Royal Jelly, Propolis and Pollen , the honey helps to maintain their potency. These products add great value to the honey, but are not considered a replacement dosage. We have also created a unique blend with Maca Root; Maca has great health giving properties and comes from Peru. |

Pollination Services
Why Pollinate?
Although wild honeybees and other native pollinators assist in crop pollination they cannot be relied upon as their numbers fluctuate greatly from year to year due to weather, destruction of habitat, agricultural pesticide use, and the effects of parasitic mite infestations. Many crops require honey bees to transfer pollen in order to have a good seed set and ensure that a good fruit develops around these seeds. Placing beehives in an orchard maximizes pollination and increases the quality of fruits and vegetables. Hives are placed in the orchard at a ratio of approximently one hive per acre for most crops. They are placed in the orchard when the blossoms begin to bloom and are removed when the petals drop, before any spraying takes place.
Order early to ensure availability of hives!
